Course Description
In this five-week course, students are introduced to the concepts of home recording, including recording vocals and instruments, virtual instruments, MIDI, mixing, bouncing audio and the use of effects. Topics will also include ideas on how to properly set up a home studio on any budget. Students will receive “hands on” experience on their own computers or devices. No previous experience is needed and instructions on how to download free software for the course will be given prior to beginning the class.
Orientation
Students and at least one parent/guardian MUST attend the virtual orientation session on Wednesday, March 31st from 7:30pm to 8:00pm in order to participate in the course
