Intro to Hip Hop Lyrics

From the legendary emcees to the current chart toppers there are core fundamentals that make for a great rap lyricist.  In this five-week course, students will learn the foundations of spitting bars, rhymes, structure, melody and style.  Students will have an additional optional opportunity to collaborate with the Contemporary Songwriting Students on Saturday May 15^th and perform their original work in the Record High Spring Session Showcase on Saturday May 22^nd.
